Tennis is sneaking in late in the back of the remedial stats classroom. The statistical leaderboards are based only on basic elements of the match, such as aces and total points won. Winners and unforced errors aren’t tabulated for many matches. Basic stats for the men’s and women’s tours before this season aren’t online.

“We’re aware tennis has more work to do overall to get stats on par with other sports,” WTA Tour spokeswoman Amy Binder said. “It’s definitely very important to us and something we’ve been working hard on.”
