IRVING — Failed word talker, idiot-moron-hater, Tiki Jr., and those were the kinder, gentler critiques of Cowboys legend Emmitt Smith floating in the blogosphere this week.
A few Cownut precincts went so far as to absurdly suggest No. 22 was just an ish running back, his NFL-best 18,355 rushing yards a product of a really good offensive line.
Emmitt has had better days, and all because he dared suggest that the coach of the Dallas Cowboys is not a leader, the quarterback needs to be more of one, the No. 1 receiver needs to prove himself worthy of the role, or the team will be 7-9.
How about we all just tell No. 22 thank you, and go on our way?
