Overrated Iowa Hawkeyes Don't Compute

Iowa doesn't pass the eyeball test.

"Computers have not seen us play," coach Kirk Ferentz said this week during the Big Ten coaches teleconference. "If they had eyes, they would say, 'Are you kidding me?' "The unbeaten Hawkeyes ranked first overall with the Bowl Championship Series computers, but they ranked eighth in the coaches poll last week -- just behind one-loss USC. The disparity speaks to the subjectivity of major college football. Style sells.
