Oregon in Title Game? Slim Chance

After its Saturday night shellacking of Southern Cal, Oregon is eighth in this week’s USA Today poll (Harris rankings come out Monday) and in the BCS rankings. Teams ahead of the Ducks in the BCS rankings are Florida, Texas, Alabama, Iowa, Cincinnati, Texas Christian and Boise State.

Texas, ranked second, seems the least likely to lose through the rest of the regular season. The Longhorns would then be favored in the Big 12 championship game.
