Young Passed First Test, Harder Ones Remain

He was all smiles after the 30-13 win over Jacksonville. I don't think any of us can imagine the pressure Young was under to deliver the type of performance he had Sunday.

Young knew he was replacing Collins because owner Bud Adams wanted to evaluate whether to keep Young past this season. The other players knew it, also. This wasn't a coaching decision, putting Young under the gun with his coaches and teammates.

It's like being the teacher's pet in school. Yeah, you get perks, but the rest of the kids can't stand you.
