When Ohio State meets the University of Nike (excuse me, Oregon) today in the Rose Bowl, the matchup will be about Ohio State trying to escape the black cloud that has followed it around in recent bowl games, and about favored Nike (oops, Oregon) trying to beat the Buckeyes for the first time ever in football.
