There was no news release. No meeting with the media. Not a single word from the so-called ownership of the Trail Blazers organization so far.
When it comes to the future of Blazers general manager Kevin Pritchard the speculation could have been put to rest with a single sentence typed out on the letterhead of the Vulcan, Inc. mothership run by Blazers owner Paul Allen.
"Kevin Pritchard is our guy."
With those five words, the focus would be back on basketball again.
