Cycling Faces Fight for Credibility

The cycling world has become used to bad news dropping occasionally like thunderbolts from the sky, and on the whole, the professional peloton has been remarkably resilient in its ability to pick itself up and ride on. However, revelations disseminating from American news sources this morning about a confession from Floyd Landis, who won the 2006 Tour de France and was then stripped for illegal drug use, are if true about as condemning and discrediting as anything the sport has known.
