Ten years ago Ricky Williams terminated the agency that signed him to one of the worst contracts in sports history. The company Williams fired was owned by rapper Master P.
The end result in Williams hiring a rapper to handle his contract was that the NFL took Master P., put a clown suit on him and then shoved him out the door after honking his red nose. Williams signed an incentive-heavy rookie deal in which the incentives were almost impossible to reach. The contract was so horrific it should be studied by MBA programs today as a template for how not to do an NFL deal.
