Robin Soderling of Sweden did it again at the French Open. A year after becoming the first player to beat Rafael Nadal at Roland Garros, Soderling beat the defending champion, Roger Federer, 3-6, 6-3, 7-5, 6-4 at Court Philippe Chatrier on Tuesday evening.
"It cannot be much better, huh?” Soderling said during an on-court interview.
Using a strong nerve and steely nerve, Soderling kept Federer off balance with his power. Soderling had been 0-12 against Federer.
