Given that line of thought, it's also logical that several Southeastern Conference schools have ongoing issues with sports agents. Why the SEC especially?

Because that's where the players are.

NCAA investigators are headed to Georgia next as part of a probe into potential agent misconduct. Florida, Alabama and South Carolina have gotten caught up in it too. Don't feel left out if you're not on that list. Even if your allegiance is outside the SEC, this mess eventually will come to a school near you.
