At the end of his bizarre, 15-minute introductory news conference Tuesday at Progressive Field, new White Sox designated hitter Manny Ramirez uttered the only sentence he didn't require coach Joey Cora to translate.
"Can I go and get ready for the game?'' Ramirez asked in perfect English.
Judging from Day 1, the Sox will let Manny go whenever he wants to do whatever he pleases.
What's Spanish for enabler?
