Confession: One of my duties the last few years has been to act as an auctioneer at our high school fundraiser. Occasionally, despite my best efforts to ignore her histrionics, the wife jumps in. The way she explains it, it's for the good of the school because it drives up bidding. Sure, I tell her. I get it.
But what if we win?
Just wondering if any Ranger asks the same question these days.
They set off for the winter meetings at Disney World with the best of intentions, not to mention my blessings. They were going to try to bring back Cliff Lee. It wouldn't be easy or even likely, but they would try, God bless 'em.
