Owners, Players Resume Mediation

After nearly a month away, groups representing the NFL and players reconvened in Minneapolis Monday to resume court-ordered federal mediation before U.S. Magistrate Judge Arthur Boylan.

As was the case during the last two waves of mediation -- April 14 and 15, then April 19 and 20 -- this phase is expected to last two days, and included the presence of one current player, four owners, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, NFL general counsel Jeff Pash and NFL Players Association executive director DeMaurice Smith.
