The Yankees couldn't have chosen a better time for a hot streak.
The Bombers wrapped up a four-game sweep of the White Sox Wednesday night with a 7-2 win, matching their season-high with their seventh consecutive victory to pull them into a first place tie with the Red Sox in the American League East.
Now it's on to Fenway Park and a first-place showdown with those Red Sox, a team that has owned the Yankees this season, winning eight of the first nine meetings between the rivals.
