Ian Kinsler delivered a two-out single off Ervin Santana in the eighth inning, and the Rangers rallied from a two-run deficit in the first inning Wednesday to beat the Angels 4-3 and push their lead in the American League West to seven games.
C.J. Wilson allowed two runs on only five hits in seven innings, and Neftali Feliz finished off the Rangers’ sixth straight victory with his 24th save of the season.
The Angels went to work in the first. Peter Bourjos tripled to left-center field and scored on a groundout by Howie Kendrick for the second out. Torii Hunter hit a grounder up the middle that could have ended the inning, but Elvis Andrus’ throw pulled Mitch Moreland off of first base.
