Ten days ago in Anaheim, Calif., the Texas Rangers were three outs away from claiming an imposing eight-game lead over the Los Angeles Angels.
Now, after Saturday night's five-home run Angels barrage and 8-4 loss to the Halos, the Rangers have dropped seven of their last 10 games and their once-robust division lead is down to two.
Worse, it was another dud of a Rangers pitching night, as C.J. Wilson gave up 10 hits and six runs in five innings, which included four Angels homers.
