There was a scary moment or two Thursday night when two of their players had to be helped off the ice. But by the end of the game, the Sharks had no reason to feel anything but good about a 3-0 victory over the Vancouver Canucks at HP Pavilion that kept San Jose undefeated after five preseason games. "It was a good game, and we continue to get better," said Joe Thornton, who had two assists. "That's been our goal since the first day of training camp." The Sharks got a power-play goal from Joe Pavelski and even-strength tallies from Dan Boyle and Jamie McGinn to support goalie Thomas Greiss' 25-save shutout performance against a Canucks team that was minus its top stars.
