LSU Nearly Turnover-Proof

LSU's three turnovers are the fewest in the nation, they did not turn the ball over once in October, and they have gone 59 possessions without losing a fumble or throwing an interception.

The last time LSU turned the ball over was in the fourth quarter of a 19-6 win against Mississippi State, when Lee threw his lone interception of the season.

"We work on ball security very extensively on a daily basis and is something that will not go by in any practice or any game day, for that matter," said LSU Coach Les Miles. "That has been a strong characteristic of this team."

The nation-leading statistic is surprising, considering LSU's quarterback duo of Jordan Jefferson and Lee had combined to throw 36 interceptions in the past three seasons.
