If Nathan Enderle is around only to collect dust like the George Halas fedora on display in the Halas Hall lobby, he is a waste of time, energy and money.
If Enderle was worth a fifth-round draft pick, $543,860 in 2011 compensation, a roster spot for 17 weeks and the daily attention of coaches during practices, after practices and in meetings, he should be on the field Sunday against the Vikings in Minnesota.
We understand the Bears want to win the game. No one is suggesting they shouldn't.
