In the aftermath of another close defeat, Timberwolves forward Kevin Love made an observation that indicates how much progress new coach Rick Adelman is making in changing the "losing culture" in the locker room.
Yes, Miami's 103-101 victory Friday night in front of a sellout crowd of 19,356 left the Wolves frustrated and winless at 0-3, but Love, who has seen his share of misery in his first three seasons in Minnesota, noticed a key distinction.
"Games like this, we would have folded in years past," he said. "This was a big step for us."
