You get the sense that there is going to be some kind of comeuppance, some retribution for what’s happening in Los Angeles. Kobe Bryant is 33 years old, he has played more than 1,300 NBA games, including playoffs, he has long-standing knee issues and now, he has a torn ligament in his right wrist that requires a pain-numbing shot before every game.
