David Beckham, a member of the L.A. Galaxy once again, might find out over the next two years that David Beckham is a pretty tough act to follow.

The first David Beckham is, after all, the man who helped put his team and MLS on the map. In the press release trumpeting his return, the Galaxy called itself “a truly international club with worldwide recognition.” That’s not bad for an American soccer team that just won its third championship in 16 years.
