The eyes of the college basketball world will be focused on the slumping Panthers (11-8, 0-6 Big East) today, as ESPN College GameDay descends on Petersen Events Center for only the second time.
In the hours leading to the 9:05 p.m. tipoff against No. 23 Louisville (14-5, 2-4), a student will have a chance to win $18,000 during the State Farm half-court shot promotion, and hot topics will be discussed from the GameDay desk with Rece Davis, Hubert Davis, Bilas and Phelps.
The atmosphere will be markedly different from the other time GameDay came to town, a 74-69 victory by the No. 7-ranked Panthers over Georgetown in January 2007.
