Dodgers' Kershaw Providing Hope in Zambia

The Los Angeles Dodgers ace came to Oklahoma City on Thursday night to accept the Warren Spahn Award, given annually to the best left-handed pitcher in baseball.

It's just the latest trip in a whirlwind offseason. Last weekend, he was in New York City receiving the National League Cy Young Award. Before that, he was in Los Angeles promoting a new book written with wife, Ellen, “Arise: Live Out Your Faith and Dreams on Whatever Field You Find Yourself.” Before that, he was in Zambia doing a two-week mission trip.

Told you this guy was passionate about his faith, albeit a bit more understated than the knee-taking, skyward-pointing Denver Broncos quarterback.
