If Oswalt Calls, Rangers Should Listen

At age 26, left-handed pitcher Matt Harrison appears to fit snugly into that plan. In 2011, he compiled a 14-9 record and a 3.39 ERA while making 30 starts for the two-time American League champs.

But if the phone rings at the ballpark today, there's a good chance it may be the agent for Roy Oswalt. From all reports, Oswalt, an 11-year veteran, wants to pitch for the Rangers.

At the age of 34 and with 159 major league victories on his ledger, the right-hander is a free agent and looking for a job, preferably one, it appears, that isn't a thousand miles away from his home in Mississippi.
