Landon Donovan’s remarkable run at Everton continued Tuesday as he set up the only goal in a 1-0 triumph over English Premier League leaders Manchester City.

The assist was Donovan’s fifth in just seven games for Everton, which he joined on loan at the beginning of the month. The L.A. Galaxy captain has played every minute since in right midfield and helped the Toffees to a four-game unbeaten streak in all competitions.
