When it comes to the really cutthroat aspects of the business, no conference should want to be like the SEC. Just look at the most recent ways, shapes and forms of Les Miles and Nick Saban.
Miles got in front of a booster club and ripped Gunner Kiel. He’s the hotshot quarterback who said he was going to LSU but ended up signing with Notre Dame on Wednesday.
“He did not have the chest and ability to lead a program,” Miles said.
This from a coach who routinely tosses players aside that don’t fit into his program. Like Chris Garrett, who didn’t turn out to be such a hotshot quarterback two years ago.
He had to transfer to Northwestern State, wherever that is. Just to add to the hypocrisy, Miles has talked Garrett out of his original verbal...
