Green, Michigan St. Pop Michigan

Draymond Green has always understood pressure, and on Sunday, he had about as much as any one player could handle.

Coming into Michigan State's showdown with Michigan, Green was fighting back from a sprained knee he suffered in a loss at Illinois Tuesday, was trying to keep his team from falling out of contention in the Big Ten and maybe most importantly, he was trying to end a three-game losing streak to archrival Michigan.

And just to add to the moment, after Michigan State lost at Michigan a couple of weeks ago, Green guaranteed that his team would not lose to Michigan when the teams met again in East Lansing.

Needless to say, it was on the Spartans' senior to produce.

Green backed up his guarantee by scoring 14 points and grabbing 16 rebounds in No. 9 Michigan State's 64-54 victory over No. 23 Michigan at the Breslin Center.
