LeBron James had a bit of extra pep in his step before tip-off.
It had nothing to do with the Miami Heat's opponent or the fact it was the day of Super Bowl. James was a little more amped because it's sometimes necessary for early games.
That was evident when the Heat started slow, regrouped and then held off a late rally in Sunday's 95-89 victory against the Toronto Raptors at AmericanAirlines Arena. It was their seventh win in eight games, the lone loss coming Feb. 1 against the Milwaukee Bucks.
James scored a game-high 30 points, including four straight points in the closing moments.
