Before there was Lady Gaga, pop music's reigning diva (not you, Cher) was Madonna. Sunday at Super Bowl XLVI, the Material Girl of the MTV '80s tried to recapture her supremacy in big-event music.

In a heavily choreographed, disco-driven show, the 53-year-old singer/dancer from Detroit performed a lively show on a stage set up on the field at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
