ACC Crown in Sight for Florida State

Florida State's basketball team didn't look like world beaters when it lost five out of eight games during one stretch before the New Year. But the Seminoles are charging toward what could be an ACC regular season title.

Things are lining up perfectly for the 16-6 Seminoles, who host Boston College (7-16) tonight then close out the regular season with a stretch of games that includes two contests with Miami (14-7) plus games against Virginia Tech (13-10) and Clemson (11-11). The major tests will be a trip to N.C. State (17-7) on Feb. 18, a visit from Duke (19-4) on Feb. 23 and a March 1 trip to Virginia (18-4).

FSU already owns wins against Duke (76-73 on Jan. 21), North Carolina (90-57 on Jan. 14) and Virginia (58-55 last weekend). Seven straight wins lifted the 'Noles to the No. 15 ranking in this week's AP poll.
