Ruslan Fedotenko caught it Tuesday night, sitting in the TD Garden press box in his suit, rising to cheer as his otherworldly Rangers teammate, Henrik Lundqvist, preserved a 3-0 shutout over the Bruins by making four of his 42 saves on a Boston power play in the final 1:50 of regulation.
“He was not gonna let a puck in,” John Tortorella said of Lundqvist, who has four shutouts in his last 10 starts. “You could sense that.”
“He was pretty — I don’t even know what the word is — unbelievable,” said defenseman Michael Del Zotto, who grabbed another power-play assist on Ryan Callahan’s sixth goal during the Blueshirts’ four-game winning streak.
