When Tom Izzo walked into his postgame press conference on Thursday night, he had a long list of positives.
It's easy to understand considering No. 7 Michigan State had just knocked off No. 15 Wisconsin, 69-55, at Breslin Center.
The win moved Michigan State (21-5, 10-3) back into a tie for first place in the Big Ten with Ohio State and dropped Wisconsin two games behind the leaders. It was also the sixth time this season the Spartans have beaten a ranked team, the most in Division I.
But the list of positives from this victory was long, and Izzo couldn't have been happier.
