Hornets End Knicks' Win Streak

Two weeks of Lin-sanity and everything that entails finally got the best of Jeremy Lin.

He’s no longer undefeated, no longer invincible and the Knicks winning streak is over.

Lin missed too many shots and turned the ball over at a NBA record pace as the New Orleans Hornets led wire-to-wire and defeated the Knicks 89-85 at the Garden.

The loss ended the Knicks seven-game winning streak and dropped them below .500 at 15-16. The Hornets improved to 7-23.

Lin scored 26 points but he shot 8-for-18 and committed nine turnovers, all in the first half. His 45 turnovers in his first seven starts is the most of any NBA player since they began keeping that statistic in 1977-78.
