There may be more to ESPN’s decision to dump Ron Jaworski from its “Monday Night Football” booth - much more.

Jon Gruden is the benefactor of Jaws’ demise, at least on the surface. The plan, or should we say the plan for now, is for Gruden to be the star of a two-man booth. The other seat is occupied by Mike Tirico, the play-by-play man.

Yet if a certain thing happens, the third chair, once occupied by Jaworski, might not be cold for long.
