As soon as he finished up at the proctologist’s office ... er, interview room, Alain Vigneault said, he was heading straight to a meeting of his coaching staff, looking for ways to refloat the boat in time for Game 2 of the Vancouver Canucks’ playoffs Friday night at Rogers Arena (7 p.m., CBC, Team 1040).

Let’s hope he and the boys all packed a lunch. This could take a while.
