With two weeks remaining in our condensed and partially mutilated 2011-12 NBA season, we're juggling more plots, subplots and characters than a vintage episode of the show that we're no longer allowed to mention on Grantland because David Simon is a condescending, humorless blowhard. Did these storylines emerge because we crammed 66 games into four months? Did we just get lucky? Or am I fudging this because I desperately needed a Friday column? Probably all three.
