Sunday afternoon, the Chicago Bulls held their first practice since losing Derrick Rose to a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Players, coaches and executives expressed universal disappointment for their star. They also expressed confidence they can recover, starting with Game 2 of their first-round series against Philadelphia on Tuesday.
"We're not going to back down," Joakim Noah said. "Our margin of error is a lot smaller with Derrick out. Can you replace Derrick? No. But we're not going to let the media or anybody paint the picture for us. We've played well without Derrick before."
