ShareBryzgalov Makes Flyers Squirm

Jaromir Jagr peered around one of the few reporters left in the near-empty Philadelphia Flyers dressing room, and over towards Ilya Bryzgalov’s empty stall. He grinned. “He’s not here,” said one reporter. Jagr had just been asked if Bryz, as they call him, was the most interesting man on the team, and Jagr wanted to check if he would be overheard, before thinking better of it.
“He’s gonna read it,” Jagr said, his smile almost wolfish, thanks to a playoff beard with the grey bits selectively shaved out. “Or somebody’s going to tell him, in Russian.”
Bryzgalov was absent from an optional practice on Monday, which is both allowed and appropriate, since he is the last thing anybody seems to talk about when it comes to the Flyers these days. The nicest thing anybody can really say is that he has not halted...
