Given the circumstances, the easy thing to do would be to call Alexander Radulov and Andrei Kostitsyn into the office and read them the riot act.
You chew them out. You make sure they understand this is not acceptable behavior. You warn them never to do it again.
Then you put them back on the ice.
This is, after all, playoff hockey and the Predators trail Phoenix 2-0. You have to do what’s best for the city, the fans, the team.
Right?
Sorry, but the Predators aren’t wired like that. From its inception, this franchise has been built on discipline and attention to detail. If you flinch now, the foundation that was laid 14 years ago and has been maintained ever since is compromised.
