It was more of the same for Tiger Woods at The Players Championship, a tournament he won in 2001 but where he has mostly struggled.
With a 1-over-par 73 on Sunday, Woods' T-40 was his second-worst finish (excluding withdrawals) at The Players. Woods tied for 53rd in 2005.
It is also the first time in his career that he finished T-40 or worse in three straight events after a T-40 at the Masters, a missed cut last week at the Wells Fargo Championship and this week's T-40.
“Just keep working. Keep working,’’ Woods said when asked what he takes from the week.
