For the first time in this glorious postseason, the Coyotes are trailing in a series. After a skittish effort in Game 1, they deserve no better.

The Kings dominated the overwhelmed hosts in a 4-2 victory Sunday at Jobing.com Arena, piercing a growing sense of destiny in Glendale. They peppered Mike Smith with 48 shots on goal. They have won six consecutive playoff games and are 6-0 on the road, one shy of the NHL record for most consecutive road wins in a single playoff year.

Their advantage is both statistical and psychological.
