Pacers Benefit From Huge Break

Suddenly, the Indiana Pacers and the Miami Heat are a tossup. Indiana might have lost Game 1, but now the Heat have lost center Chris Bosh "indefinitely" with a lower abdominal strain -- "indefinitely" meaning he won't play again this series. "This season has to be extended for me to play again," Bosh said Monday.

After Game 1, the Pacers complained (way too much) about how they didn't get any breaks, conveniently forgetting they missed their last nine shots and five of their last eight free throws and got outrebounded by the smaller Heat.

Well, they just got a huge break.

Almost as big a break as they got in the first round, when they beat the Orlando Magic without Dwight Howard.

My guess is, if the Pacers advance, Boston's Kevin Garnett will come down with a case of hoof-in-mouth disease, or Philadelphia's Andre Iguodala will develop a kidney...
