he Miami Dolphins quarterback competition can officially begin on Sunday now that first-round pick Ryan Tannehill has agreed to terms.
Tannehill, who missed Miami's first two practices because of a dispute over contract language, agreed to terms Saturday evening according to a team source. He's relocated from Bradenton and is expected to participate in Sunday's 8 a.m. training camp session.
Tannehill will receive a four-year contract that's worth $12.688 million, and features a fifth-year option that is held by the team.
The majority of Tannehill's money will be guaranteed, which is standard for first-round deals under the new CBA.
