Oregon State continued its eye-rubbing run Saturday, beating Brigham Young 42-24 in Provo, Utah, to move to 5-0 for the first time since 1939. On Sunday, OSU climbed to No. 8 in the nation, rare enough air that one wonders if they make oxygen masks that fit over giant Beaver teeth.
Even more important, Oregon State did something it's difficult to do in the state known for rain-kissed hipsters and swoosh-splashed kicks: It stole the spotlight from Oregon.
