And, yet, the first thing Florida coach Will Muschamp did when he took the podium after the Gators' 14-7 victory over Missouri is to say in an almost contrite tone: "This is who we are. ... It ain't always pretty. ... We need to continue to improve and become a more explosive offense."
Asked later if he was apologizing for the victory, Muschamp shook his head no, but then added, "I'm a realist and I'm honest and I call it the way it is. When it stinks, it stinks."
