The disappointment and anger at the Lakers losing four of five games to start this season might well be greater than when they lost four of five games to Oklahoma City to end last season.
That's what great expectations will do for you, the same way a mediocre movie is tolerable when killing time on a plane but will leave you shaking your head leaving the theater if Roger Ebert, Rotten Tomatoes and your five best friends all hyped it up in advance.
There's certainly no happy ending yet, but a scene change is coming for the heretofore thumbs-down Lakers.
They should win their next seven games. Seriously.
