Blame Coach, QB for Giants' Fade

Tom Coughlin and Eli Manning were the best coach-quarterback combination in the NFL coming into the 2012 season. They had won two Super Bowls together the previous five years, twice beating Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, who have been the gold standard of this century.

The Giants are now a desperate team as they close out the season Sunday against the Eagles, needing a victory over Philly and losses by the Bears and Vikings and a loss or tie by the Cowboys, simply to sneak in as a wild-card.

How unbecoming for a Super Bowl champion.
