Robert Griffin III awoke from anesthesia Wednesday determined to resume the hybrid quarterback revolution. The rest of us need to wake up to reality.
Hybrids are great, but they just don’t last.
If you go into a QB showroom, don’t fall in love with the latest trend. You’re better off in the long run with a model that can stay on the road.
Like a 1998 Manning or a 2000 Brady. Those are the years Peyton M. and Tom B. entered the NFL. Does anyone believe today’s young QB hotrods will last that long?
